Starting on Monday, Sept. 18, we will begin a reconstruction project in our Bellevue Woman’s Center kitchen area, anticipating completion and reopening on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
As a result, the cafeteria will be temporarily closed to be repurposed for food prep to ensure we continue to serve meals to new moms on our Labor & Delivery units.
Unfortunately, dining services will not be available to colleagues and visitors during this 8-day period.
We understand this temporary closure may cause inconvenience for colleagues and visitors. We encourage everyone to plan accordingly by bringing their own food or utilizing takeout options during this period. Please know that this project, however disruptive, is vital to our long-term maintenance plan.
In addition, essential services will remain during this 8-day project: Moms on our Labor and Delivery units will continue to receive their meals in their rooms without any interruption.

There's a lot to think about before your baby is born. Do you want an epidural? Do you want to have a water birth? Who do you want in the room with you?
"Your Birth Plan" was created to help you make these decisions. Work with your doctor to complete the checklist and let them know what you want during pregnancy, labor, and delivery.
